The Granary Description

All on one level above the clome oven room but accessed from street level, The Granary has everything you need for a relaxing break. Double height ceilings and a Velux window make the living area light and bright, with exposed beams adding to the charm and character of the place. Two comfy sofas (with dog throws provided) with a Smart TV, offers the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring and the handy folding dining-table optimises space. The small but perfectly formed kitchen is ideal for cooking up a holiday feast and you'll find plenty of local farm shops to stock up on fresh produce. The beautifully styled bedroom is a peaceful oasis where you can relax and recharge. The bathroom is quite splendid and has a fabulous roll-top bath for a soak or a rainfall shower. The dressing-area has a wardrobe and tallboy, plus additional storage space.

Outside, the pretty apple orchard is the ideal place to wander and let the dog have a run, the orchard is shared with guests staying in Greystones and the Owners. You are also invited to enjoy the woodland walk, a real treat for those nature lovers. Or simply sit on the wooden bench in the apple orchard and absorb the sounds of the countryside all around. In the evenings watch the sunset by the fire-pit or perhaps use the barbecue for some al fresco dining, the perfect end to the day. With private parking for one car and easy access to many fabulous beaches close by, you will feel well and truly at home in The Granary.

The traditional clome oven room offers shared access to additional storage, a washing machine, tumble-drier and freezer (with a dedicated drawer for Granary' guests), two dog crates, plus a couple of pairs of wellies for you to borrow. If you are after a bit more fun and entertainment, head across the courtyard to our shared games barn which offers table football, mini-pool/air hockey and a range of board games.

Being dog owners ourselves, The Granary is truly dog-friendly (not just dog tolerant!). We provide lots of throws for sofas and beds, so your four-legged friend can enjoy snuggles at the end of the day, along with an outdoor warm-water dog shower, for washing off muddy or sandy paws. Our welcome pack for your four-legged friend includes: water bowl, feeding mat, dog towels, dog poo bags and handmade dog treats.

The Granary is one of two fabulous properties at Town Farm, the other being Greystones, so if you are looking for a holiday as a larger group Greystones and The Granary can be booked together (sleeping 6) and have a handy interconnecting door.
