A little further away the delights of the coast await. Bude is renowned for its fabulous beaches and is a mecca for surfers. Walkers will enjoy miles of coast path and this is the best way to discover the many hidden coves, sandy beaches and dramatic clifftops of the north Devon and Cornwall coastline. Clovelly is one of the most beautiful and unique villages in Devon with cobbled streets and flower strewn cottages, it has become one of the most instagramable places to visit in the UK. Boscastle is as pretty as a picture, or perhaps spend a day in Tintagel, home to the legendary King Arthur, where you can see his impressive statue overlooking the Atlantic. Walkers and cyclists alike will love exploring the many trails over Dartmoor, a fabulous place to explore at any time of year. If you are bringing your four-legged friend with you, Town Farm is a doggy delight. We have green lanes, footpaths, our own woodland walk and our apple orchard, all available straight from the door to keep furry tails wagging.
We are open all-year and offer short breaks outside of school holidays.
Dog Friendly
Being dog owners ourselves, The Granary, Greystones and The Grange are truly dog-friendly (not just dog tolerant!). We provide lots of throws for sofas and beds, so your four-legged friend can enjoy snuggles at the end of the day, along with an outdoor warm-water dog shower for washing off muddy or sandy paws. Our welcome pack for your four-legged friend includes: water bowl, feeding mat, dog towels, dog poo bags and handmade dog treats. Our 1/2-acre orchard is enclosed, we have our own woodland walk and Greystones / The Grange have an enclosed garden.
Additional facilities @ Town Farm
The traditional clome oven room offers access to additional storage, a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, two dog crates, plus a couple of pairs of wellies for you to borrow.
If you are after a bit more fun and entertainment, head across the courtyard to our games barn which offers table football, mini-pool/air hockey and a range of board games.
Outdoor facilities @ Town Farm
We offer shared access to our 1/2 acre enclosed apple orchard and woodland walk. Our apple orchard offers space for your four-legged friend to run around. You can relax on a wooden bench and enjoy the country life, with wild bird song and maybe the odd mooing cow to listen out for.
Alternatively enjoy a wander along our woodland walk, before unwinding over a BBQ, or toasting marshmallows over the orchard fire pit.
We offer ample private off-road parking, with three generous spaces.
You really could park up and just relax into country life . . .
Resident Bats
There are resident bats who live at Town Farm (four species). The bats are mainly resident between May-October, and you may see and hear the bats around sunset as they prepare to leave their roosts for night-time feeding. They return to their roosts in the early hours of the morning, around 2-3am. The Granary attic in particular is a maternity roost where pregnant bats have their babies, and you may be fortunate enough to see the young bats 'learning to fly' around our courtyard on a summer evening.
CCTV
We have three security cameras, on the front, side and back of our property.
None of the security cameras are specifically focused on the holiday accommodation, and none are located in the cottage properties.
Our security cameras cover our property, due to our rural location.
EV Car Charger
We have a 7KWh EV charger at the property, available for guests staying at Greystones or The Grange. The charger is tethered and operated by Voltshare.

If you don't fancy cooking, our closest pub serving food is the Bradworthy Inn, just 2.5miles away in the neighbouring village of Bradworthy. It is also dog-friendly in the bar.
